How to conduct signal jammer project acceptance: Results, Boundaries, Recovery, and Recording

A verifiable signal jammer acceptance process cannot be replaced by a single mobile phone test next to the device.

How to conduct signal jammer project acceptance: Results, Boundaries, Recovery, and Recording
Usage Notice: This product must not be used for any illegal purposes. It is intended for use only by legally authorized organizations, locations, and projects. Before purchasing, deploying, and using this product, please ensure it complies with the communications, spectrum, privacy, and public safety requirements of your country or region.

Acceptance testing of the signal jammer project should not be limited to simply checking if a mobile phone has a signal next to the device. A complete acceptance test should include at least six parts: authorization documents, test baseline, target area performance, external impacts, downtime recovery, and record archiving.

1. Confirm authorization and scope before acceptance.

The project owner should clearly define the permitted organizations, locations, rooms, frequency bands, time periods, and responsible persons, and confirm the import, installation, and usage requirements of the target country or region. On-site deployment and performance testing should not commence without clearly defined authorization boundaries.

2. Establish a pre-power-on test baseline.

With the equipment off, record the primary carriers and communication types at the center, perimeter, doors, windows, corridors, and boundaries of the room. The baseline is used to interpret the original signal strength on-site and to help determine whether insufficient signal at a particular location stems from configuration, location, or a strong external signal.

3. Verify the impact of targets within the area and outside the boundary separately.

  • Within the authorized area, check each item according to the pre-confirmed frequency bands and test locations;
  • Repeat the test outside the door, in the hallway, in adjacent rooms, and outside the authorized boundary;
  • Multi-device projects are recorded in three states: single unit, group, and all activated.
  • Orientation equipment should simultaneously inspect both the forward target area and the reverse boundary;
  • For networked projects, it is also necessary to verify online status, scheduled events, permissions, alarms, and logs.

4. Check communication recovery after shutdown.

After shutting down the equipment, confirm that normal communication in the target area and adjacent areas can be restored, and record the time required for restoration and the test results. Recovery testing can help identify problems with equipment status, network control, or the field communication itself.

5. The acceptance form must include verifiable information.

Record Project Suggested content
Equipment Information Model, serial number, location, installation height and orientation
Configuration information Target country, operator, frequency band and control method
Test conditions Date, time period, test terminal, location, and raw signal
result Effects within the area, impacts outside the boundary, and downtime recovery
responsibility Tester, reviewer, exception handling, and final confirmation

Do not directly increase the power if the effect is insufficient.

First, check if the frequency bands match, if the on-site signal has changed, if the equipment orientation and installation point are reasonable, if there are any metal obstructions, and the layout between multiple devices. Any adjustments must be re-verified at the boundaries; the impact on normal communication outside the authorized range should not be ignored in order to achieve the desired effect within the authorized area.
